How to get started with Equipaws Pet Services!
Welcome! We’re excited for you to join the Equipaws family! Let’s get started! Before scheduling pet care with Equipaws Pet Services, you must register on Precise Pet Care and complete your profile thoroughly.
Once that’s done, we’ll send a Calendly link for you to set up your phone consult. An Equipaws pet professional will review your pet’s profile with you and make sure they have all the necessary information so we can give the best care. Then, we’ll set up a time for an in-person meeting so we can meet your pets and collect your keys. Please read our FAQs here if you have more questions.
So many questions… for a pet?
One thing you’ll notice is that our profiles are very thorough! We know how much you’re trusting us with your beloved pet and the security of your home. We take this trust and your pet’s care seriously. It’s important for us to honor it, which is why we cover many questions like:
- your pet’s exercise, meal, and water routines
- health and medical history
- allergies and preferred toys
- garbage days, mail location, lights, and more
to make sure we give the best care tailored to your and their individual needs.
We know it seems like a lot, but coming into your home is a huge responsibility, and we want to make sure we have all the information we need to give your pets the best care while you travel or are at work. We take your pet’s health, happiness, and your home’s security seriously.

Yes, we’ve heard that from our clients! But by the end of chatting with us, pet parents appreciate how much information we ask. We are professional pet sitters and have come up with these questions thanks to the wisdom we’ve gained since opening our doors in 2011.
Not only are we taking care of your pet, but we are also your eyes and ears in your home while you are away, providing safety and security on your travels by bringing in the mail, changing lights, and making sure any issues with the house are addressed promptly (flooding, air conditioning not working, and even fires!). The more we understand your home’s quirks and pet’s nature, the better off all parties will be. We are bonded and insured, and our team of pet lovers has been thoroughly trained in pet care and passed criminal background checks.

Equipaws Pet Services helps Miami’s pets and their parents live their best lives with reliable dog walking and in-home pet sitting. We’re locals serving our community since 2011. We started as just a sister team but now have over twenty employees caring for pets from Brickell to Cutler Bay.
Our employees are wonderful animal lovers who’ve undergone pet CPR and first aid training, thorough on-the-job training in dog walks and leash handling, and background checks. They’re devoted pet parents just like you. A little more about our team:

- A Team of Employees: We hire employees, not independent contractors. That means our dog walkers are trained to our standards. It also means we work as a team, so if one of our employees gets sick, there will always be another to step in for their walks. You don’t have to worry about last-minute cancellations on our part.
