We love our time with our Brickellista pets! There is so much to see (and sniff) in Brickell. Pups can socialize at Brickell Key Park and the Promenade, and Bayfront Park. Your dogs can enjoy breathtaking views (and scents) of Downtown Miami, Key Biscayne, and the Port of Miami. This is a family and pedestrian-friendly environment, perfect for lazy strolls, fun runs, and space for playing catch. Just be sure to pick up after your pooches and you’ll fit right in!
Our pet sitters and dog walkers living in and serving Downtown Miami know firsthand how cool and pet-friendly those neighborhoods are. Our pet sitters have strutted their stuff with plenty of pups around Downtown’s world-class restaurants, parks, and museums! There’s so much for pet parents and their pups to do here. Visit Margaret Pace Park with your pooch, buy them some bling and treats at Animal Crackers, or share a lunch date with them at AllDay coffee bar! Read more.
Coral Gables is called the City Beautiful with good reason. Coral Gables is a pedestrian and dog-friendly city (the shade from those grand trees is indispensable come summer!) covered in stately oak trees and parks. The homes are beautiful, the restaurants are delicious and dog-friendly, and there are so many activities for a dog and their owners. We love walking dogs in Coral Gables! Read more.
Did you know Shenandoah was one of the first neighborhoods in the city of Miami outside of Downtown Miami? Shenandoah is also one of the most diverse neighborhoods in Miami, a city that’s already very inclusive of all ethnic and cultural backgrounds. It’s central to all of our other favorite neighborhoods, like Coconut Grove, Coral Gables, and Downtown Miami, and is very walkable, with coffee shops, restaurants, a school, a library, and Shenandoah Park is dog friendly as long as pups are on leashes!
Coconut Grove from a dog’s perspective is paradise! If you’re hungry or thirsty and want the first-rate company of your dog in Coconut Grove, you are in for a huge treat. Coconut Grove seems to have the highest concentration of dog-friendly restaurants in all of Miami-Dade County. And after indulging in food & drink in the uber dog-friendly Coconut Grove restaurants, you and your furry friend would really benefit from a nice walk! The shaded Grove is perfect for your pup’s sensitive paw pads, and there are plenty of green spaces made just for them (Kennedy Park & Blanche Park) and The Barnacle Historic State Park is dog-friendly, as well! We also sponsor many dog-friendly events in this bohemian neighborhood. Read more!
Owners Flavia and Frankie grew up in South Miami, so this city is near and dear to their hearts! They are members of the Rotary Club of South Miami, and Equipaws Pet Services hosts doggy pack walks every first Sunday of the month out of downtown South Miami! Plenty of restaurants allow for doggy dates outdoors, there are many dog-related businesses (hello, iconic Dog from Ipanema!) and there are many beautiful places to walk your dogs throughout the city’s lush streets to boot. South Miami also has its own Dog Park, where small and large dogs can run off leash. Historic Old Cutler Road runs through the City of Pleasant Living, where families and their pups can go for strolls under the shade. Read more.
