We love our time with our Brickellista pets! There is so much to see (and sniff) in Brickell. Pups can socialize at Brickell Key Park and the Promenade, and Bayfront Park. Your dogs can enjoy breathtaking views (and scents) of Downtown Miami, Key Biscayne, and the Port of Miami. This is a family and pedestrian-friendly environment, perfect for lazy strolls, fun runs, and space for playing catch. Just be sure to pick up after your pooches and youâll fit right in!
Coconut Grove from a dogâs perspective is paradise! Â If youâre hungry or thirsty and want the first-rate company of your dog in Coconut Grove, you are in for a huge treat. Coconut Grove seems to have the highest concentration of dog-friendly restaurants in all of Miami-Dade County. And after indulging in food & drink in the uber dog-friendly Coconut Grove restaurants, you and your furry friend would really benefit from a nice walk! The shaded Grove is perfect for your pupâs sensitive paw pads, and there are plenty of green spaces made just for them (Kennedy Park & Blanche Park) and The Barnacle Historic State Park is dog-friendly, as well! We also sponsor many dog-friendly events in this bohemian neighborhood. Read more!
Coral Gables is called the City Beautiful with good reason. Coral Gables is a pedestrian and dog-friendly city (the shade from those grand trees is indispensable come summer!) covered in stately oak trees and parks. The homes are beautiful, the restaurants are delicious and dog-friendly, and there are so many activities for a dog and their owners. We love walking dogs in Coral Gables! Read more.
Did you know Shenandoah was one of the first neighborhoods in the city of Miami outside of Downtown Miami? Shenandoah is also one of the most diverse neighborhoods in Miami, a city thatâs already very inclusive of all ethnic and cultural backgrounds. Itâs central to all of our other favorite neighborhoods, like Coconut Grove, Coral Gables, and Downtown Miami, and is very walkable, with coffee shops, restaurants, a school, a library, and Shenandoah Park is dog friendly as long as pups are on leashes!
Owners Flavia and Frankie grew up in South Miami, so this city is near and dear to their hearts! They are members of the Rotary Club of South Miami, and Equipaws Pet Services hosts Sip & Strolls every second Thursday of the month at different restaurants. Plenty of restaurants allow for doggy dates outdoors, and there are many dog-related businesses (hello, iconic Dog from Ipanema and Wynwood Dog Food!) and many beautiful places to walk your dogs throughout the cityâs lush streets. South Miami also has its own Dog Park, where small and large dogs can run off-leash safely. Historic Old Cutler Road runs through the City of Pleasant Living, where families and their pups can stroll under the shade. Our dog walkers love the area, and we pet-sit many cats in the neighborhood, too! Read more.
High Pines, located in the vibrant city of Miami and close to South Miami and Ponce Davis, is yet another beautiful neighborhood serviced by EquipawsPet Services. Dog owners in High Pines can explore dog-friendly dining options at various Miami bars and restaurants in South Miami and can branch out to Coral Gables and the Grove as well! Pets are welcomed with a fresh bowl of water and menu offerings in many restaurants around Miami. Equipawsâ team in High Pines is committed to offering personalized and premium pet care solutions, allowing residents and their pets to live their best lives.Â
Nestled between North Coral Gables, Pinecrest, Cutler Bay, and US1, Palmetto Bay is home to the Berti sisters and many of Equipawsâ favorite dog walking and pet sitting clients! PBay had a tough time during Hurricane Andrew, but the neighborhood has flourished and is full of gorgeous trees, beautiful homes, and a great community. The dogs we walk benefit from the large trees covering the sidewalks with their boughs, and taking a stroll along Old Cutler Road, past Deering Estate and down to the Peopleâs Dock is divine! There are several dog-friendly places in PBay, including Maxwell Brothersâ Clothing Store and Starbucks, and many schools, too. Itâs a family-friendly place that loves its dogs and kitties, and begrudgingly accepts its peacocks.
Pinecrest is a beautiful tree-lined suburban village known for its tranquil and friendly atmosphere, making it one of our favorite neighborhoods for dog walking. Our dog-walking clients who live in Pinecrest really appreciate the shade offered by these gorgeous trees (and so do their walkers)!
Pet parents in Pinecrest also have some fun, dog-friendly options to explore, such as dog-friendly parks like Pawcrest Park in Suniland Park and Pinecrest Gardens, which welcome leashed dogs during the weekends and also features a dog-friendly farmers market with plenty of pet vendors selling treats and cute doggie accessories!
Whether you are looking for daily walks or vacation pet sitting, Equipaws ensures premium and reliable pet care, helping residents and their furry family enjoy Pinecrest’s serene and lush environment.
We care for dogs, cats, rabbits, and more in Ponce Davis, as well! This is a serene neighborhood in Miami, which has a wealth of trees and is close to many dog-friendly establishments. Youâre minutes away from the Salty Donut and Deli Lane Cafe. Flavia and Frankie spent their childhood at Dante Fascell Park, which is also close. Our team of top-rated dog walkers and pet sitters happily services in this lovely neighborhood. Residents and their pets can enjoy the scenic views and recreational grounds of nearby Coral Bay Park in Coral Gables, just a 6-minute drive from Ponce Davis. Red Road turns into historic Old Cutler Road close by, which means you can walk to Wayside Market with your dog and get a refreshing strawberry shake after a nice walk!
