Support Miami’s Stray Dogs on December 12, 2013!

We’re very excited to be supporting the Save the Strays Foundation for the second time this year, and just in time for the holidays. The Save the Strays Foundation is hosting its Adoption Event and Social Hour from 5:00 to 9:00 p.m. Thursday, December 12, at the Downtown Athletic Center on Biscayne Boulevard.
This animal rescue is very close to our hearts. Carolina Gallina, Vice President of Save the Strays, was the mother to Viva, one of our beloved clients who died recently (pictured). Viva was a very special pup- she was missing a part of her back paw, but full of life and love. Carolina took such loving care of her; we know that this foundation shows same care and respect for animals that she did for her little girl.
 
The Save the Strays Foundation Mission is beautiful:

“Inspired by our love and concern for neglected domestic and farm animals, Save The Strays Foundation provides funding for veterinary care, home placement, and community education on animal welfare. We also provide assistance and financial support to organizations that rescue stray animals”.

A founding member of the Equipaws family, Frankie can mostly be found working behind the scenes, helping co-create online branding, managing several social media accounts, designing brand collateral, writing copy, and managing events. She also fills in for pet sitters and dog walkers when needed in Palmetto Bay, Pinecrest, and South Miami. Her own small pack consists of Boots the Shih Tzu mix and Nutmeg the Chiweenie.
