Nicholas is a proud Miami native whoâs happily shared his life with dogs for over two decades. He recently lost his longtime companion Charles after more than 15 years of treks all around the Gables area. With the past two years mainly consisting of elder dog care, he was inspired to join Equipaws and reignite the joy that comes from spending time outside with man’s best friend. He likes big dogs with an appetite for exercise. The more pent-up energy, the better!
Nicholas works as an English teacher for first-generation Americans in Little Havana. In his downtime, he likes to loiter around cafĂ©s, go to the cinema, and travel to cities with robust public transit. His interests include Scottish Independence, working-class literatures, and the Golden Age of Hollywood.Â
Currently, he makes sure to feed two neighborhood street cats, a mother and her young molly, and has adopted a new puppy: a four-month-old, lovable terror of a Labradoodle named Joseph.
