Julie was born and raised in Miami. She grew up with her dogs Figaro the Boxer and Ricky the miniature poodle. Both dogs taught her how to care for dogs and manage their behaviors. She also grew up with three cats- Lucky, Winnie, and Oliver. She loved caring for them and learned so much about the care and keeping of kitties. Her love for animals inspired her to rescue her current dog Annie, who is a Pitbull from Orlando, Florida. Annie did not have it so easy growing up (before her adoption), but Julie provided a loving home, and Annie has become such a fun, loving, and compassionate dog that Julie has been the proud mama of for 5 years.
Before joining Equipaws Pet Services, Julie worked as a Sourcing Specialist in procurement and planning at Dunham Bush USA. She was highly motivated and worked on several projects at a time. Julie also studied at Florida International University, where she acquired her Bachelor’s degree in Psychology. She walks dogs and cares for kitties in East Kendall, Palmetto Bay, Pinecrest, and Cutler Bay!
