Originally from New York, Jamie is a new resident to the Sunshine State. After receiving her BS in Marine Biology, Jamie worked as a Veterinary Technician for four years all the while volunteering at a marine mammal rescue and rehabilitation center and becoming a certified wildlife rehabilitation technician. Through all these experiences she learned to care for a wide variety of furry, feathered, and scaly animals.
Jamie moved to Florida for an amazing animal care opportunity. She is excited to be able to care for animals and be able to explore more of our beautiful South Florida. In her spare time, she enjoys going to the beach, hanging out near the water, playing volleyball and spending time with friends. Being a part of the Equipaws team allows her to combine her love for animals and love of the outdoors.
