If you’re looking for dog-friendly events in Miami, look no further! Join Happy with Dogs and Equipaws Pet Services at Deli Lane Cafe for the last joint walk of 2023!

This is dog-optional due to the potential respiratory illness spreading throughout the country. As of this writing, there are no reported cases in Miami-Dade. However, we understand wanting to be cautious with your pups. We will still be meeting to have our walk and dinner, and would love to see you one last time this year! Doggies can socially distance if needed.

Happy with Dogs, an AKC Fit Dog Club, will lead an 𝐀𝐊𝐂 𝐅𝐢𝐭 𝐃𝐨𝐠 𝗪𝐚𝐥𝐤 on December 7th for us! There will be tricks and games instead if we determine it is too hot for a walk. Interested in earning AKC Fit Dog Titles? Happy with Dogs will teach you how at the event! This is rain or shine.

How it works:⁣⁣
We’ll meet in front of Deli Lane at 6 p.m., take a stroll, or practice tricks for treats and games, depending on the weather. We’ll come back to Deli Lane for dinner and drinks. In general, the AKC Fit Dog Walk will be 1 mile. We can walk as slowly as needed; special needs dogs can walk shorter distances with veterinarian approval. Best of all, this walk can count towards your AKC Fit dog titles! The walk is free, as always.

Safety First: If you choose to bring your dogs, we will be socially distancing. As always, let’s remain on one side of the street or sidewalk when we walk to keep our dogs safe, and please bring water for your pups! Please let us know if your dogs have special needs or prefer to stay away from certain kinds of dogs, etc.

𝐓𝐢𝐦𝐞: Meet up starting at 6 PM. 6:15 stroll or tricks/games, followed by yummy drinks and food. Let us know if you plan to stay after to enjoy cocktails and small bites (or dinner!).

Please feel free to come by whenever works best for you. We might already be on our walk by 6:15/30, so you can wait for us to return to the reserved patio space or try to join us on the walk. We do our best to check our messages until the start of the walk and will try to share the route so you can join in.⁣⁣

Dogs in strollers and wheelchairs are welcome- no need to finish the walk. You can always take breaks!⁣⁣⠀Please only use retractable leads if strictly necessary and if you’re committed to being careful- there have been some leash mishaps. And bring water for your pups during the walk- thank you!⁣⁣
