Melanie was born and raised in Miami, FL. As an only child, she sought companionship from her birds and dogs. She is currently pursuing Mental Health Counseling at Nova Southeastern University. Although she loves working with people, she finds great comfort and fulfillment from fluffy companions. She’s passionate about helping animals and pets, so she volunteered at the county shelter for 3 years and networked dogs in need of homes.
Melanie is the proud dog mom of a Shih Tzu mix named Hershey and a foster fail named Edda. In her free time, Melanie explores coffee shops, reads, and goes on adventures with her pups!
