Bring in the Spring with Happy with Dogs and Equipaws Pet Services with an AKC Fit Dog Walk and Yappy Hour at Whisk in South Miami!

Happy with Dogs, an AKC Fit Dog Club, will lead an 𝐀𝐊𝐂 𝐅𝐢𝐭 𝐃𝐨𝐠 𝗪𝐚𝐥𝐤 on March 21st for us. We’ll walk and practice tricks and games instead if it is too hot for a walk. Interested in earning AKC Fit Dog Titles? Happy with Dogs will teach you how at the event! This is rain or shine.

How it works:⁣⁣

Depending on the weather, we’ll meet in front of Whisk at 6 p.m., take a stroll, or practice tricks for treats and games. We’ll come back to Whisk for dinner and drinks. The AKC Fit Dog Walk will be one mile in length. We can walk as slowly as needed; special needs dogs can walk shorter distances with veterinarian approval. Best of all, this walk can count towards your AKC Fit dog titles! The walk is free, as always.

Safety First: To keep our dogs safe, let’s remain on one side of the street or sidewalk when we walk. Please bring water for your pups! Please let us know if your dogs have special needs or prefer to avoid certain kinds of dogs, etc.

𝗪𝐡𝐞𝐫𝐞: Whisk Gourmet Food & Catering

𝐓𝐢𝐦𝐞: Meet up starting at 6 PM. 6:15 stroll or tricks/games, followed by yummy drinks and food. Let us know if you plan to stay after to enjoy cocktails and small bites (or dinner!).

Please feel free to come by whenever works best for you. We might already be on our walk by 6:15/30, so you can wait for us to return to the reserved patio space or try to join us on the walk. We do our best to check our messages until the start of the walk and will try to share the route so you can join in.⁣⁣

Dogs in strollers and wheelchairs are welcome—there is no need to finish the walk. You can always take breaks!⁣⁣⠀Please only use retractable leads if strictly necessary and if you’re committed to being careful—there have been some leash mishaps. And bring water for your pups during the walk—thank you!⁣⁣
