The 4th Annual Howl-O-Ween Festival at Pinecrest Gardens was such a success! We were very happy to have welcomed over 1500 dog lovers and their pets (and quite a few familiar faces) all in the name of raising money for Paws 4 You and homeless pets in Miami. This year’s turnout was even better than last’s, and all took place on a beautiful day with perfect weather (not too hot!) amid fun activities and the wonderful vendors and sponsors who helped make this event happen.
We sponsored the Rent-A-Dog Booth and had so much fun watching the attending dogs enjoy the Doggie Fun Zone (TM), a lure-motivated agility course for dogs. Any dog can do it- they don’t need training. We know a few American Boxers who were extra excited, and it was the highlight of the day for many pups. The costume contest was excellent, check out the gallery below for cute get-ups and ideas for your dog’s costumes next year!
A lot of heart and time went into making this fun day happen; there are so many people who joined forces, it’s impossible to name them all. This was a very well-coordinated, well-attended event; working with Cindy Gonzalez, Paws 4 You volunteer and this event’s coordinator, was a wonderful experience (she also organized the Run Fur Fun this year, with great success!). We can’t wait for next year’s Howl-O-Ween! In the meantime, enjoy photos taken by our pet sitter, Sara Robinson. There are more photos on Paws 4 You’s website as well!
