11th Annual Vets Fore Pets Golf Tournament
Imagine a Miami with no more stray dogs and cats starving on its streets, exposed to being run over by cars and or wasting away from preventable diseases. Imagine no more animals dying at Miami-Dade Animal Services due to lack of homes or owner responsibility, or to overpopulation. Thanks to organizations like the South Florida Veterinary Foundation (SFVF), a non-profit actively promoting responsible pet ownership while offering free and low-cost spay, neutering, and pet care for our community, this is becoming a possibility. How can you help them help pets? Support them (and enjoy yourself doing it) at the Vets Fore Pets 11th Annual Golf Tournament on November 20, 2015!
The Tournament is in its 11th year and is the single largest fundraiser of the year! The SFVF hopes to bring animal lovers together to fund the ongoing programs it sponsors for the benefit of our community, including Project Unleashed, the Project MDAS Partnership, and the Friends of the Foundation Outreach:
- Project Unleased: pro-bono veterinary care for pets of the homeless and indigent owners. The SFVF partners with Camillus House to provide veterinary care for pets of homeless and indigent owners, including flea and tick medications, vaccines, and pet food. Clinics are hosted every other month at Camillus House, and food is distributed via Camillus House or Chapman Partnership.
- Project MDAS Partnership: low cost spay and neuter services for low income pet owners. Owners This also offers free spay and neutering services for community cats, with no limits or income qualifications. They accept neighborhood, stray, or un-owned cats. Left ear-tip is mandatory, free rabies vaccine included on cats three months or older
- Friends of the Foundation Outreach: free educational lectures for pet owners and education on responsible pet ownership for local schools

Foursome: Each player will receive a golfer gift bag, bagged lunch, complimentary range balls, refreshments, and dinner. Please email office@sfvet.org with all four names, email addresses, shirt sizes, and handicaps. Cost: $900
Individual Golfer: Each player will receive a golfer gift bag, bagged lunch, complimentary range balls, refreshments, and dinner. Individual golfers will be matched up for a foursome. Please email office@sfvet.org with your shirt size and handicap. Cost: $250
