Upon searching for ways to expand her skill sets in animal care & training, Katie stumbled upon Equipaws through a local recommendation after moving to the Miami area from Michigan. Since graduating from Northern Michigan University in 2021 with a degree in biology/psychology, she is now pursuing her dream career as a marine mammal trainer.
Katie looks forward to the unconditional love and sloppy kisses she receives from her clients and enjoys finding new ways to bridge the communication gap between humans and animals. As a former zookeeper, volunteer, intern, trainer, and animal lover, Katie’s passion and knowledge in providing quality care can be seen throughout her work! When she’s not working, you can find her trying new recipes or catching some rays at the beach!
