We’ll walk and practice tricks and games instead if we determine it is too hot for a walk. Interested in earning AKC Fit Dog Titles? Happy with Dogs will teach you how at the event! This is rain or shine. \nHow it works:⁣⁣\nWe’ll meet in front of Bay 13 Brewery & Kitchen at 6 p.m.\, take a stroll\, or practice tricks for treats and games\, depending on the weather. We’ll come back to Bay 13 for dinner and drinks. In general\, the AKC Fit Dog Walk will be 1 mile. We can walk as slowly as needed; special needs dogs can walk shorter distances with veterinarian approval. Best of all\, this walk can count towards your AKC Fit dog titles! The walk is free\, as always. \nSafety First: Let’s remain on one side of the street or sidewalk when we walk to keep our dogs safe\, and please bring water for your pups! DESCRIPTION:Looking for dog-friendly events in Miami and Coconut Grove? Join Equipaws Pet Services and the Barnacle Society for the Barkyard Theatre at The Barnacle’s December movie night on December 15! We’ll be watching The Santa Clause! It’s the perfect weather to bring your family to the park for an outdoor holiday movie! Gates open at 6:30 PM\, movie starts at 7:30 PM. Buy your tickets here: https://www.thebarnacle.org/barkyard \n*Due to the possible spread of canine respiratory illness in the news\, this event is dog-optional. If you do bring your doggies\, they will need to be up to date on all vaccines and we recommend they socially distance. There is plenty of space to spread out! \nWhat to bring: You are welcome to come in comfy holiday pajamas! You may bring blankets and lawn chairs. A limited amount of chairs are also available on a first-come\, first-served basis\, and moviegoers can socially distance their dogs six feet apart on the lawn. \nThe price of admission is $15 per adult. Kids 10 and under are $7. Each person may bring a maximum of two dogs with them. Dogs must have current rabies vaccination and license (tag on collar)\, and be well-behaved\, ex. no excessive barking or aggressive behavior. Aggressive dogs may be asked to leave. \nConcessions are available for purchase\, including dog treats from Moondog Barkery. Mexican families welcome the souls of their deceased loved ones back for a loving reunion\, and our beloved pets arrive to visit us first on October 27th. They stay with us through November 2nd\, the big day where they celebrate with skull parades\, ofrendas\, altares\, and lots of food and music. By November 3rd\, the altars are removed.⁣ \n⁣We’d love for you to join us Friday\, November 3rd\, as Gueyita Mexicana and Equipaws Pet Services host a final special night to honor and love the pets we’ve lost in this beautiful tradition. You’re encouraged to be a part of the altar by adding your pet’s name to it.
