We’ve been their first aid station for several years now\, and it’s so much fun! At Equipaws Pet Services\, we are committed to supporting dog-friendly events like Paws in the Pool. We believe that our dogs deserve to live their best lives\, and being part of social gatherings like this one is a great way to help them socialize and enjoy themselves. \nEvery year\, The Venetian Pool welcomes dogs of all sizes for a fun swim before they close for the season. This year\, Venetian Pool will open its doors on Sunday\, Oct. 4. There are two sessions scheduled. \n\nSession One: The first session for small dogs (under 30 pounds) takes place from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m.\nSession Two: The afternoon session is from 1:30 pm to 4:30 pm (Large Dogs)\n\nEntrance is $15 per dog\, $12 per human. Mexican families welcome the souls of their deceased loved ones back for a loving reunion. Our beloved pets arrive to visit us first on October 27th. They stay with us through November 2nd\, the big day when they celebrate with skull parades\, ofrendas\, altares\, and lots of food and music. By November 3rd\, the altars are removed.⁣ \n⁣We’d love for you to join us Saturday\, November 1st\, as Gueyita Mexicana and Equipaws Pet Services host a final special night to honor and love the pets we’ve lost in this beautiful tradition. \n⁣Bring your pups and meet us in front of The Historic Barnacle State Park in Coconut Grove. We’ll be there from 7:00 – 9:00 p.m. ⁣Let’s share our memories through this community altar over refreshments. \nBe a part of the altar: You’re encouraged to be a part of the altar by adding your pet’s name to it. DESCRIPTION:Happy with Dogs\, an AKC Fit Dog Club\, will lead an 𝐀𝐊𝐂 𝐅𝐢𝐭 𝐃𝐨𝐠 𝗪𝐚𝐥𝐤 on April 11th for us. We’ll walk and practice tricks and games instead if it is too hot for a walk. Interested in earning AKC Fit Dog Titles? Happy with Dogs will teach you how to do it at the event! This is rain or shine. We’ll be meeting at Sports Grill this month! \nHow it works:⁣⁣\nDepending on the weather\, we’ll meet in front of Whisk at 6 p.m.\, take a stroll\, or practice tricks for treats and games. We’ll come back to Whisk for dinner and drinks. The AKC Fit Dog Walk will be one mile in length. We can walk as slowly as needed; special needs dogs can walk shorter distances with veterinarian approval. Best of all\, this walk can count towards your AKC Fit dog titles! The walk is free\, as always. \nSafety First: To keep our dogs safe\, let’s remain on one side of the street or sidewalk when we walk. Please bring water for your pups! Please let us know if your dogs have special needs or prefer to avoid certain kinds of dogs\, etc.\n⁣\n𝗪𝐡𝐞𝐧: Thursday\, April 11\, 2024⁣\n𝗪𝐡𝐞𝐫𝐞: Sports Grill 1559 Sunset Dr\, Miami\, FL 33143\n𝐓𝐢𝐦𝐞: Meet up starting at 6 PM. 6:15 stroll or tricks/games\, followed by yummy drinks and food. Let us know if you plan to stay after to enjoy cocktails and small bites (or dinner!). \nPlease feel free to come by whenever works best for you. We might already be on our walk by 6:15/30\, so you can wait for us to return to the reserved patio space or try to join us on the walk. We do our best to check our messages until the start of the walk and will try to share the route so you can join in.⁣⁣ \nDogs in strollers and wheelchairs are welcome—no need to finish the walk.
